If you happen to be into history or airplanes, you MUST go check out the Texas Flying Legends at the Fargo Air Museum. Even if neither history or airplanes is a particular interest of yours, you may still find this exhibit very interesting. These planes aren’t just any old airplanes–the planes in this collection are WWII warbirds that fly from Texas to Minot, North Dakota each year and make a few stops along the way. You will be able to see and tour the planes at the Fargo Air Museum through Sunday, June 24! The planes that made the trip to Fargo include Betty’s Dream B-25J, Aleutian Tiger P-40, Whistling Death FG-1D Corsair, P-51D Mustang Dakota Kid II, and the last Samurai Japanese Zero A6M.
If you need another reason to head to the Fargo Air Museum, the North Dakota Grape Growers Association will be holding a wine tasting there from 4:30-6:00pm on Friday, June 22 and it’s open to the public!
This collection of warbirds is truly awesome and worth a visit to the Fargo Air Museum! Click here for a video of the Texas Flying Legends arriving at Fargo Air Museum!
